During the holidays, everyone just wants to have a reason to feel that Christmas cheer that’s synonymous with the season. To be joyful, feel abundant and have some fun.
The women over at the Younger Breast Cancer Network, who are all under the age of 45, even have their own special way of rejoicing in the spirit.
Bearing in mind that some of these women are enduring chemotherapy, the group thought it would be a great idea to introduce a project that would spark some amusement.
The women featured in the photos above decided to celebrate the holidays by decorating their eyebrows in all sorts of creative ways.
According to Buzzfeed, the goal of the project was to “provide some laughs” to cancer patients at the Younger Breast Cancer Network.
As you can see, it worked!
One group member, Sarah Perry, told Buzzfeed that “Christmas can be a difficult time of year for younger women going through treatment like chemotherapy for breast cancer. You spend so much time ill, stressed out, worried, afraid — maintaining a sense of humor and finding ways to laugh are so important.”
