You’ve Been Tying Shoelaces Wrong Your Entire Life (VIDEO)

When we were kids, our parents taught us how to tie our shoes by teaching us a little rhyme about bunny ears.

To lace up our sneakers, we had to fold each end of a lace into a “bunny ear,” then use our thumb and index finger to hold the ears in each hand.

After crossing the bunny ears so they looked like an X in the air, we looped the bottom ear over and through the top one. Pulling the bunny ears away from our shoe was the next step — creating the knot that secured our laces while we played.

But after watching the above video, it appears we’ve been tying shoelaces wrong our entire lives!

Check it out for yourself and see if you can learn to use this method.
